Have you ever wondered what a 100% single origin filled chocolate would taste like? Ever wanted something more than just a bar of single origin chocolate? Aequare (Ay-kwar-ay) Fine Chocolates are made from the finest Arriba cacao found only in the lowlands of Ecuador. Aequare’s single origin Arriba chocolate is sourced from Ecuador’s Los Rios province. Rooted with a deep sense of cultural history, cacao has been grown in this region for over two centuries. It is considered by connoisseurs to be among the finest and rarest in the world. The cacao is made into chocolate locally, then delicately handcrafted in small batches into the finest chocolate products in Quito, Ecuador. We use this single origin chocolate in all our products. Our complementing flavors come directly from their sources. We brew our own coffee, cook fruit, squeeze and zest citrus, and incorporate herbs and spices as needed. No two batches of the same recipe are exactly the same. We use local honey, Tahitian vanilla beans, and our primary ingredients are all sourced locally. Aequare combines the highest quality ingredients, pure fruit purees, and artisanal techniques, creating exceptional single origin chocolates.
